Katie Linendoll is an Emmy Award–winning TV personality, emcee, and leading tech expert known for her energetic on-air presence and deep technical expertise. She launched her broadcast career at just 19 years old, hosting ESPN2’s SportsZone while earning her degree in Information Technology New Media from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
She went on to hone her production and storytelling skills at ESPN Headquarters, working behind the scenes on SportsCenter and Outside the Lines, where she earned an Emmy Award for her contributions.
Katie soon stepped in front of the camera to co-host A&E’s Emmy-nominated series We Mean Business, helping small, family-owned companies transform through technology makeovers — a perfect bridge between her IT background and her role as a trusted tech expert.
Her on-air career quickly accelerated. Katie became a technology contributor for CBS’s Early Show and CNET, then went on to host Spike TV’s All Access Weekly, covering tech, gaming, and pop culture. The show featured interviews with top innovators and celebrities including Norman Reedus, Elijah Wood, Peter Jackson, and Steve Carell.
Over the past 15+ years, Katie has become one of the most recognized female tech experts in media, contributing to NBC’s TODAY Show, The Weather Channel, Rachael Ray, and SiriusXM. Through her production company, Katie Linendoll Productions, she shoots, produces, and edits national TV and digital content for outlets including Popular Science and Sports Illustrated — bringing a tech expert’s insight and an emcee’s polish to every project.
