“Miss Mary Mack”
Off the heels of her country single debut, “Renaissance Lady” which reached #73 on the Music Row charts, Katie Linendoll releases her new single “Miss Mary Mack”—a unique blend of country and pop.
As the saying goes, well behaved women rarely make history. “Miss Mary Mack” brings together a fusion of the vintage clapping game that has spanned generations with lyrics inspired by the Book of Judith in the Bible and a unique blend of banjos and bass. The end result is a unique country pop song based off a female ninja who can’t be tempted by romance and is only here to take matters into her own hands.
The song comes with a lot of gratitude for the musicians Katie worked with on this project. Katie adds: “Noah Needleman and Morgan Johnston brought a chorus to the table that was just perfect, giving it a very unique vibe, and producer Denny White delivered exactly what I asked for in direction of a fusion of banjo and bass.” Katie’s vocal teacher and vocal producer, Dan Spencer, once again plays an integral part in the production of “Miss Mary Mack.”
As with every song, Katie ties her profits to small non-profit. “Miss Mary Mack” supports K9 Hurricane’s Heroes and Georgia Police K9 Foundation (supported by Mark and Mattis).

MUSIC VIDEO
Linendoll, who runs her own production company in the space of TV and digital, produced the music video which was directed by Natalie Simmons. The two were beyond thrilled to film the first music video in the incredible Vu Nashville studios featuring a 123-foot-high x 40-foot-wide LED wrap screen. The dance for the video was choreographed by Natalie Aaron. Katie’s mom, a costumer, created her Miss Mary Mack silver buttons dress and she credits her hair and makeup artist, Alicia Oliveri, for putting together all the incredible visions on-set (even styling K9 Mattis).
