Your Hands

Katies latest single, “Your Hands” is as she describes 100% pure country Americana.

Katie shares “This one is for the men: the men with grit, character, and whose lived experiences could write a story for the ages. The ones that have fought for this nation, the ones who are unapologetically praising the Good Lord, the ones who you just feel so good to stand next to: It’s for our fathers, our significant others, and the ones we have met on our journey. Their lived experience could write a story for the ages. I wrote this song over a year ago and my team has always said it was their favorite. When I’ve played it for people it always reminds someone of someone special in their life and that makes me so happy.”

Katie shares: “Songwriting is my favorite aspect of the process and I have so many songs I can’t wait to share. Patience is not my strong suit so it’s really hard to pick and choose which ones will be amplified.”

About Katie Linendoll

Emmy Award Winner | Silicon Valley Visionary | Guinness World Record Holder Top Ten Music Videos Across all Genres iTunes | Degree: Information Technology New Media, R.I.T.

“I am best known for my work on TV and my involvement in the tech field so when I finally started sharing my love of music publicly, I think people were like, ‘Wait what? A tech influenceris also a musician? Is this a plot twist?’ I absolutely love both worlds and they’ve become integral parts in my life!”

Katie would say she is best described by F Words: Faith, Family, Flag, and Fast Wi-fi. But here is the more formal backstory to it all.

Katie is best known for her tenured career in media as one of the most in demand technology experts. She has hosted TV and digital shows for A&E, Sports Illustrated, the Weather Channel, ESPN, Popular Science, Huffington Post and SiriusXM, NHL Network, and dozens of other outlets. She can be seen as a regular tech expert on top national outlets from TODAY to The Rachael Ray Show and CBS Sports. She has received two Emmy Nominations, a Guinness World Record, and Silicon Valley Visionary Award.

She also runs her own production company that films and produces media content for top brands along with delivering content and consultation.

Music & Backstory

Katie grew up with humble roots in Pennsylvania. Katie’s love for music runs deep. Her dad is a drummer, and the house was always filled with a snare drum and hi-hats. While earning an IT degree in college, Katie worked three jobs so she could support professional voice and piano lessons. She continues to study vocally as well as dabbling in guitar and music theory.

“I grew up in a very proud military family. Nothing was handed to you, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We were taught that hard work produced results. Expectations were always high. Expect more, achieve more. Every step of my journey continues to build character and I am grateful for my upbringing.”

After earning her IT degree Katie went on to work behind the scenes for SportsCenter at ESPN HQ before making the leap to on- camera work a few years later. This was the change in visibility led to her starting Katie Linendoll Productions, LLC.

Musical Influences

Her biggest musical influences growing up were Jessica Andrews, Lila McCann, The Wilkinsons, Bryan White and Lari White.

Growing up Katie was always transfixed by music video production hence the emphasis on her music videos. She would run home from the school bus every day to catch the top countdown.

Her first country recording, “Renaissance Lady” debuted worldwide on CMT.com and went on to be featured by dozens of many outlets. “Miss Mary Mack” which Linendoll produced alongside director, Natalie Simmons, went on to be Top Ten in iTunes Music Videos across all music genres.

During a humbling period that many may have experienced, Katie went from traveling for tech shoots over 300 days a year to being completely shut down. To try and continue her work, she built four home studios. Ironically, the shutdown now afforded her the free time she lacked before to focus on pushing her music in a public forum. On her first EP, “Jericho Battle Cry” she worked with top Nashville musicians and producers and engineered her own vocals remotely.  “Jericho Battle Cry” (single) went on to receive Christian indie song of the year.

Katie’s music has been featured on CMT.com, Music Row, NewsMax, The Weather Channel, Heartland, CountryLine TV, and dozens of other outlets.

Katie currently resides between New York City, Boston, Nashville, and as she likes to say “on the road or on a plane”. Katie’s always been known for her high energy, quirky personality, and unapologetic faith-filled lifestyle. She is a purple belt in the martial arts style, KravMaga, and is a big fitness enthusiast and distance runner. She has been known to regularly do over 100+ pull-ups in one workout!

“I like to pack as much into a day as possible. God gives us one go around here and I want to make the most of every minute. When people see my day behind-the-scenes of my multi-faceted world they think it’s like a reality show – haha. Music has become an outlet for me to take the blessed craziness of my days both personally and professionally and release them into song.”

What’s Next?

“I could not be more excited for the right here right now. We have so many new songs to release and I am so thrilled to finally start performing live with my band. It’s been so humbling these past few years and I am so grateful to the musicians and producers that I have had the opportunity to work with. I just feel like a total sponge taking it all in!”

Giving Back

Katie will be quick to share how one of the most important aspects of her life is giving back. Every one of Katie’s songs are tied to a non-profit cause close to her heart. Katie proudly supports Bugles Across America (veterans non-profit), Georgia Police K9 Foundation, and Hurricane’s Heroes (K9 retirement support).

Proceeds from "Your Hands" will proudly go towards the Robert Irvine Foundation which supports and strengthens the physical and mental well-being of our service members, veterans, first responders, and their families. They provide these heroes with life-changing opportunities that unlock the potential in their personal and professional lives through food, wellness, community, and financial support.

Previous Music

Katie, a devout Christian, started her music debut in the CCM (Christian Contemporary) genre. Her first song “Jericho Battle Cry” saw nationwide press, two radio tours and received the song of the year on Christian Music Chart. Katie then turned to her passion of country music with her debut of “Renaissance Lady” which debuted on CMT.com and once again saw national press and hit the Music Row charts at #73 and #19 for Independent Artists. Most recently, Katie released Miss Mary Mack, which she produced alongside director Natalie Simmons, in the Summer of 2022. The music video hit top ten on iTunes music videos across genres.
